"President Xi Jinping emphasized the new development pattern proposed by China is by no means a closed domestic cycle, but a more open domestic and international dual cycle," Au said on the sidelines of the third China International Import Expo, which ended on Tuesday in Shanghai.
Allen Au Yeung, vice-president of creative and product development in the Asia-Pacific region for The Walt Disney Company, said: "Disney's lovable characters such as Piglet, Pumba, Hamm, Ms Piggy and the Three Little Pigs have been part of many childhood memories across generations.

Hong Kong's economic recovery became more entrenched in the third quarter alongside the further revival of global economic activity and stable local epidemic situation, said HKSAR government economist Andrew Au.
The pace of expansion moderated somewhat on account of the stronger-than-expected growth in the first half of the year and the higher base effect, Au said.
To pave the way for a broader-based economic recovery, it is essential for the community to strive towards more widespread vaccination and abide by the anti-epidemic measures, Au said.
Another example is Taiwan LCD panel maker AU Optronics, which opened a plant in the zone in 2006 and brought in a group of related companies, helping form Xiamen's first 100-billion-yuan industrial chain of panel displays.
Edward Au, managing partner of the southern region at Deloitte China, said Shenzhen has received a green light to widen its capital market to help with technology development.
In addition, reforms of the registration-based IPO regime of the ChiNext board and the establishment of a transfer listing mechanism for National Equities Exchange and Quotations companies will also benefit foreign capital looking to invest in the city's fast-growing technology sector, Au said.

[Photo/Xinhua]Commuters may dream of autonomous vehicles that relieve the hassle of driving, but the reality of urban centers means the technology still has a way to goJayson Au had been cruising hassle-free in his Tesla Model S. He had turned on Autopilot, the car's driver assist feature, and was feeling relaxed as he passed through Hong Kong's Cross-Harbour Tunnel to pick up his family after a trip to Macao.
"Au bought the Model S after the Hong Kong Special Administration Region approved limited use of Tesla's Autopilot system on city roads last year.
Drivers like Au have to wait until they are on highways or in tunnels before turning on the function - and even then Tesla cars require them to rest their hands on the steering wheel at all times.
It's like the system is punishing you," Au said.
After months of using Autopilot, Au does not trust the system entirely to drive hands-free, but he does believe it is useful.
"Au lives in a village in Sai Kung, about a 40-minute drive from Hong Kong Island, and the nature of his work as a realtor requires him to drive a lot.
"China Daily recently took a spin with Au in his Model S. As he drove along the 3-km section of the Island Eastern Corridor expressway from Causeway Bay to North Point, he turned on Autopilot.
Au gave a signal to change to the right lane, and after about 5 seconds the car found a gap and steered over.
Au could set the distance at a length of one, two or three cars.
Au believes that driverless cars are the future.
He said he hopes the member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the African Union (AU) and other groups will be able to come together, help and benefit each otherHe delivered this keynote address at the luncheon session moderated by Ronnie Chan Chi-chung, chair of the Hang Lung Properties Limited.
Edward Au, southern region managing partner at Deloitte China, expects market liquidity to be further improved after the dual counter model is included in the Southbound Stock Connect, and he thinks the first new stocks in Hong Kong adopting the dual counter model will be listed before the end of the year, depending on the exchange rate trend of renminbi.
More technology companies, especially those involved in Asia's merger and acquisition boom, will be drawn to make special-purpose-acquisition-company listings in Hong Kong, said Edward Au, southern region managing partner at Deloitte China.
Edward Au, Deloitte China southern region managing partner, said if the revised listing regime lives up to market expectations, it will strengthen Hong Kong's role as a key financing platform and facilitate the sustained development of its stock market.
Edward Au, southern region managing partner of Deloitte China, said that the heat in the Hong Kong IPO market can be attributed to the new economy companies, which accounted for 90 percent of the funds raised.
"We fully expect the Shanghai Stock Exchange to secure the crown jewel in the global ranking [of IPO venues] by the end of 2020," said Edward Au, managing partner of Deloitte China's southern region, as Shanghai has so much momentum.
In a sign of the city's determination to jump on the bandwagon, Au King-lun, executive director of the Financial Services Development Council, said last month that Hong Kong is well positioned to become fertile ground for the digital yuan.
The digital yuan pilot project, together with the newly-launched Wealth Management Connect-which guarantees mutual access to wealth management products issued in the Greater Bay Area and facilitates cross-border investments by individual residents in the region-will certainly help tackle the shortage of offshore yuan-denominated assets and push the yuan a step further on its path to becoming a global currency, Au said.
"Although the rebound (in March) is not enough to counter the decline for the past two months, safe-haven demand (for gold) is significant, with the trading volumes of Au (T+D) contracts reaching a record high, and Chinese gold-backed ETF jumping by 4.6 tons," Wang said.
In the first season, the average price for Au99.99 and Au (T+D) contract hit 355 yuan ($50.4) per gram, a record high in the Shanghai Gold Exchange since its founding in 2002.
The average price of Au 9,999, a highly refined pure gold, went up 13.73 percent year on year to 308.7 yuan per gram last year on the SGE.
As a result, there have been fewer IPOs in Hong Kong over the first nine months, and fewer companies with dual-class share structures listing on the exchange, said Edward Au, co-leader of Deloitte's National Public Offering Group.
Looking ahead, however, the potential secondary listing of e-commerce behemoth Alibaba in Hong Kong is likely to lift the morale of the market in the second half, since the offering size may exceed $10 billion, said Edward Au, co-leader of the national public offering group at Deloitte.
"It will be a good thing for Hong Kong, reflecting the (fact the) ecosystem of technology firms in the city is becoming more and more mature," said Au.
Au said the highly anticipated listing of Alibaba will provide an "impulse" for Hong Kong to reclaim its IPO crown globally, especially if market sentiment is encouraging in the second half of the year.
"The statistics, in particular the absence of large, prominent deals and a drop in the listing applications, may suggest a weakening performance of Hong Kong's IPO market," said Edward Au, co-leader of the national public offering group at Deloitte China, in the report.
"How these new economy issuers will be valued, priced, subscribed before the offering and traded after the share flotation would have implications for future IPOs from new economy companies in both Hong Kong and the US," Au said.
As Uber, Lyft and Airbnb lead the pack of multibillion-dollar Silicon Valley companies readying IPOs in the US next year, Hong Kong is in for a bumpy ride to keep its IPO crown, said Edward Au, Hong Kong-based co-leader of the national public offering group at Deloitte.
But, Au said he remains optimistic that the region can secure a place among the top three in the global IPO league table next year.
"Many of the pending deals basically track the listing regime reform in Hong Kong that paves the way for companies with the dual-class share structure and early-stage biotech firms to raise funds," said Edward Au, co-leader of the national public offering group of Deloitte China.
"Looking ahead, boom or bust, it is the company's fundamentals that have a big say in the valuation and market performance of the newly minted stocks," Au said.
"The introduction of a dual-class stock structure is expected to attract about 100 unicorn companies in the technology industry to seek listings in Hong Kong, including mainland's ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing and Alibaba's Ant Financial Services Group," said Edward Au, co-leader of the National Public Offering Group of Deloitte China.
Hong Kong's Initial Public Offering (IPO) market has clearly diversified in its role not just as a preferred listing destination for blue-chips and large Chinese mainland businesses or State-owned enterprises, but also a fund-raising venue for potentially high-growth local and international small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs), said Edward Au, co-leader of national public offering group of Deloitte China.
Au also welcomed the strong ongoing support from both the government and regulators for policies and measures such as a plan for developing the cluster of cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and the Lok Ma Chau Loop as well as market consultations on enhancing Hong Kong's listing regime.
Lawrence Au, executive advisor for Asia Pacific with BNP Paribas Securities Services, said the gradual establishment of forxadeignxadowned PFM firms in China would mean that investors will have more choices, and the entire capital market will get more diversified, which is a long-term positive.
Au of BNP Paribas Securities said: "WFOEs wanting to establish PFMfirms are going to be patient and they know it is a long-term effort.
