China Petroleum and Chemical Corp, also known as Sinopec and the world's largest refiner by volume, said on Monday it would supply 18.17 billion cu m of natural gas during the heating season, up 17.7 percent year-on-year, with supplies to seven northern province-level regions set to increase by 29.1 percent.

The trade delegation of China Petroleum and Chemical Corp, known as Sinopec and the world's largest refiner by volume, signed agreements with Apex-Brasil to purchase oil products, chemical products, electromechanical equipment, coal and other materials, the company announced on Thursday.

According to Reuters, the decline could increase concerns that a glut in the fuel market and higher oil prices could affect the leading refiner's performance.

China Petroleum & Chemical Corp, the world's biggest refiner, also known as Sinopec, also disclosed its third-quarter report late Monday, saying its profit advanced by 13 percent as earnings from refining operations offset upstream and impairment losses during the period, while its net income increased to 11.5 billion yuan.

The Chinese company, which is Asia's largest oil refiner, ArcLight and Freepoint, declined to comment.
